Dear Friends & Fellow Mamas,
As we each continue our journey through life, it's not uncommon to encounter new challenges, especially as we approach the peri-menopause phase. Many of us may start experiencing changes like insulin resistance, thyroid complications, and various menopausal symptoms. These are not just milestones but signals from our bodies urging us to pay closer attention to our health.
I know these challenges firsthand, not just professionally but personally. My healthcare journey began over a decade ago as a nurse and led me to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. With more than 11 years of experience, from Med/Surg at Rex Hospital to supporting new mothers in Mother/Baby units, and six enriching years working alongside Dr. Lucas in Endocrinology, I've had the privilege of understanding health from various critical perspectives.
Adding a deeply personal layer to my professional experience, I am also a cervical cancer survivor. This part of my life taught me the irreplaceable value of regular health screenings, especially the importance of pap smears. While current medical guidelines may vary, I believe in the power of proactive annual exams to safeguard our health.
Understanding these needs and wanting to give back to a community that has given me so much, I've created a series of Free Printables. These tools are designed to help you manage your health more effectively, keeping track of everything from doctor’s visits to daily wellness routines. They are crafted from both my professional insights and my personal experiences, tailored to help you stay on top of your health with ease and confidence.
Please take a moment to explore these resources. I created them with you in mind, hoping they can assist you as much as they have helped me and my loved ones.
Let's continue to support each other in maintaining our health and embracing the changes that come our way. After all, taking care of ourselves allows us to care for those we love in the best way possible.
Warmest regards,
Kristin Ferree
