Holloway Selected for National Committee

East Carteret High School Principal Ralph Holloway is serving on the High School Today Publications Committee. High School Today is the national magazine of the National Federation of State High School (NFHS) Associations.
Mr. Holloway was asked to serve on the magazine’s Publications Committee by Bruce Howard, the NFHS Director of Publications and Communications. NFHS is the national leadership organization for high school sports and fine arts activities. The association is based in Indianapolis, Indiana.
According to Mr. Howard, High School Today has a circulation of 75,000 and is distributed to high schools across the county eight times a year. The Publications Committee consists of 12 individuals including a superintendent, principal athletic director and school board president. Other areas of representation include state associations, media, athletic trainers, fine arts instructors, coaches, legal counsel and guidance counselors.
Mr. Holloway was asked to serve in the principal position on the committee. His responsibilities will be as a resource within his area of expertise. Mr. Holloway will help NFHS identify articles of national interest in high school sports and activity programs, and network to identify potential writers for articles.
Mr. Howard noted that all expenses incurred by committee members based on serving on this committee are covered by the NFHS.
